Abstractcritical thinking has been the main goal of higher education institutions in the 21 century. The purpose of the study was to study development process of critical thinking of psychology students during four years of study. The research method was a survey type in a cross-sectional study. The statistical population and sample were all students entering psychology from Allameh Tabataba’i University from 1398 to 1401, whose number was 87. Watson-Glasser (1937) critical thinking test was used to measure students' critical thinking. This test has five sub-tests of inference, hypothesis identification, inference, interpretation and evaluation of logical arguments .Multiple regression analysis and diagnostic analysis were used for data analysis. The results showed that the students' critical thinking and its components are low and weak. The general trend of the development of critical thinking in students during the four years of study is upward, although this trend was slightly downward in the third year. The components of hypothesis identification, inference, interpretation and evaluation of logical arguments had a significant increasing trend, but the inference component did not have a significant trend. In addition, the components of interpretation and interpretation, and the identification of assumptions have more effect than other components in creating distinction in the four investigated inputs, and the evaluation of arguments has the least effect. Therefore, it can be concluded that although the critical thinking of students is evaluated as weak in general, university education has been effective on the growth process of critical thinking of psychology students .

There is a vast literature on aesthetics, visual design principles and graphic design theory. But very little has been discussed about the trend of e-learning and online courses in terms of aesthetics. One of the main obstacles to obtaining the required knowledge in this field is the lack of understanding of practical definitions and conceptual ideas in this field. The appropriate use of aesthetic concepts can be effective in accepting the learning system in terms of functionality and ease of use, going beyond instrumental features and paying attention to non-instrumental features such as emotional, aesthetic and motivational aspects of e-learning design according to the needs of learners and on the one hand cause their learning and satisfaction and on the other hand increase the efficiency of the education system and finally lead to a valuable learning experience. Although the definition of aesthetics in e-learning is complex, it can be said that it includes three basic elements: an acceptable appearance, an attractive visual interface, and an orderly content, and a combination of these three elements. These elements increase the learning experience and strengthen its results and affect the entire system. Therefore, the purpose of the current research is to explain the concepts and process of using beauty and visual aesthetics to improve the e-learning experience and expand the knowledge of visual aesthetics in this field by using the scope research method.

In the present study, with the aim of determining the effectiveness of interventions based on emotional and social skills and identifying multiple moderators in this field of study, the meta-analysis method was used. After specifying the entry and exit criteria, intervention efforts based on emotional and social competence programs were extracted from the databases, and in this way, 30 studies and 162 effect sizes were selected for the final analysis. The data of the present study were analyzed using the second edition of comprehensive meta-analysis software (CMA2). The results of data analysis showed that the overall effect size of interventions based on emotional and social competences on teachers' emotional well-being was 0.598. Also, the results of the analysis showed that there is a significant difference between the effect size of the studied studies according to the gender of the participants, the number of training sessions and according to the components of the dependent variable. In general, the results showed that although educational interventions based on emotional and social skills have an effective role in increasing the emotional well-being and reducing the psychological disturbance of teachers; But focusing on the explanatory role of some moderators such as the target community, the nature of the dependent variables and the number of training sessions has a decisive role. Key words: meta-analysis, moderators, emotional and social competences, emotional well-being

Involving the activity of people with learning disabilities can help them, and the Easy Mind method is one of the methods that can help improve the learning of people with this disability by combining activity with math learning. For this reason, the aim of the present research was determining the effectiveness of the EasyMind method on brain lateralization and visual memory of students with math learning disability. The present research design was semi-experimental based on pre-test and post-test with a control group. The target population was the first and second grade students with math learning disability from Bushehr Learning Disability center, in whom 30 individuals were selected with the purposive sampling method and were placed in two 15 individuals in experiment and control groups. The measurments included Benton's (1974) visual retention test for measuring visual memory, and Chapman (1987) and Edinburgh (1970) questionnaires for measuring brain lateralization. Firstly, the pre-test scores were recorded for both groups. Then, 12 sessions (45 minutes for every session) of easy-mind intervention was performed for experimental group. Finally, the post-test scores of both groups were measured. The findings showed that the EasyMind method has a significant effect on visual memory (p<0.05 and F=5.727) and the brain lateralization (p<0.01 and F=19.698). As a result, teachers of children with math learning disabilities can use the EasyMind method for these students to improve visual memory and the brain lateralization.

The aim of the present study was to review the sixth grade elementary school social studies textbook in terms of attention to the principles of brain-based learning. The statistical population of the study included the textbook of social studies in the sixth grade of elementary school, which was selected as the research sample by using whole number sampling. The research design was qualitative and was done using content analysis method. The unit of analysis was the pages of the book (text, pictures, questions and activities). The present study instrument was a researcher-made checklist designed based on the literature in the field of brain-based learning, and its validity was examined by calculating the kappa agreement coefficient The findings showed that in the sixth grade social studies textbook, the least attention was paid to the orchestrated immersion principle and the highest attention was paid to the active processing principle, while moderate attention has been paid to the relaxed awareness principle. It can be concluded that the designers of the curriculum use diversity components in the presentation of texts, images and activities, as well as observing the social world and carrying out practical activities based on concrete and objective learning experiences such as scientific excursions. Experimenting and role-playing and the use of film, clip and other digital content that has a great impact on the understanding and development of social cognition of teenagers in the age of information and communication technologies have received little attention.

The present study was conducted with the aim of comparing the cognitive variable of perceptual reasoning in reading and math learning disorders and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder .The current research was of comparative causal type. The statistical population included second to fifth grade students suffering from math disorder, reading disorder and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder who referred to learning disorders centers in Tehran in the academic year of 2023-2022. 93 students were selected with the purposeful sampling method, so that there were 31 students in each group of math disorder, reading disorder and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. The instruments used were Tabrizi reading test(2000) Conners Parents Scale for Assessing ADHD(2007), Set of standardized test of mathematics or Shalev academic achievement & diagnostic test of calculation(1993) and Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Fourth Edittion standardized by Abedi, Sadeghi and It was Rabi'i (2013). Research question was analyzed using multivariate covariance analysis and Bonferroni post hoc test of the 18th version in SPSS software. From the findings, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the reading and math groups in the perceptual reasoning variable (P<0 /5) that the math disorder group has a weaker performance than the reading disorder group. From the findings, it can be concluded that perceptual reasoning can be a more special variable for math disorder. Therefore, experts are advised to take more effective measures in the field of perceptual reasoning when dealing with children with mathematical disorders.

This research was conducted with the aim of recognition the underpinning factors of educational leadership capacity and presenting the educational leadership capacity model of Farhangian University's preservice teachers. To collect data, the qualitative research approach and GT method (systematic design) have been used. Participants were selected from faculty members of Farhangian and public Universities in 2022-2023 through purposeful sampling. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews and theoretical saturation was obtained after in-depth interviews with 16 participants. The paradigmatic model based on the findings shows that the development of the educational leadership capacity of preservice teachers, as the key driver to actualize the society-engaged higher education in Farhangian University, leads to self-leadership at the individual level. At the organizational level, it leads to the formation of the basis of participation and self-management of the school. It also leads to the strengthening of the institutional position of Farhangian University at the extra-organizational level. Therefore, based on this model, it can be said that the above consequences are obtained through very important strategies such as co-creation, mentoring, reflective leadership and leadership internship. These are influenced through contextual, causal and intervening conditions such as the emerging requirements of the stakeholder community, exclusivity in teacher education, as well as, the economic and social conditions of the society.

The present qualitative research was conducted with the aim of explaining the perception and attitude towards procrastination and its factors (contextual, continuous and revealing) in students. This study was conducted using the grounded theory method. First, the prevalence of procrastination was analyzed among the students of the Persian Gulf University in the academic year 2023-2024, and students whose grades were two standard deviations higher than the average were identified as procrastinators. Then, using a semi-structured interview, necessary information was collected from 22 procrastinating students. The findings in the perception and attitude of procrastination show two main categories (negative and positive) and seven primary concepts (delay in performing tasks, personality traits, burnout, negative emotion, self-blame, temporary positive attitude, having confrontational thoughts). they gave Procrastination factors from three main categories (contextual, sustaining and revealing factors) and twelve primary concepts (personality characteristics, family, parenting style, low self-esteem, virtual space, burnout, lifestyle, corona era, educational background, communication with others, adolescence and career field) were formed. The stable personality, family and motivational patterns of the central class shaped the current findings. These findings have important practical implications in understanding the personality, family, and motivational profiles of procrastinators.
