Abstract
he purpose of the present research was to studycurrent status of political education in formal elementary curriculum. The method used was descriptive-analytical. The main research techniques were qualitative content analysis and document review. So, textbooks and curriculum framework of social studies, Persian language and Islamic education were used in analysis process. The results show that the current status of political education in the elementary curriculum is not desirable. Most of objectives are addressed cognitive and affective domain, while less attention has been paid to political skills or psycho-motor domain. Other findings revealed that content of political education have failed to provide a good opportunity for political education in elementary schools based on religious democracy theory. Although proposed teaching and evaluation methods and techniques appear to be optimal, however due to the weakness and shortcomings of educational content, cannot be affective. And finally between the mentioned curricula from the perspective of political education there is no coordination.

owadays almost one seventh of people all over the world speak in “English” and numerous of the rest, learn it as a second or foreign language. Teaching and learning of this language is very important from political, social, cultural, scientific and international point of view. So, English as a subject has been embedded in curriculum of many formal educational systems. Teaching English in the formal educational system of Iran is started from guidance school and continued until pre-university. Word learning has an important role in foreign language learning process, because most of differences among languages refer to their word domain and many of them as Persian and English have very similarities in grammar domain. Learners to learn words for a long time may use many strategies that rehearsal (or rote memorization) seems to be the most prevalent of them. But, research has shown that this strategy is not so effective. Hence, researchers have examined more effective strategies such as mnemonic devices, for example keyword and mental imagery that effectiveness of them has been proved many times in different countries. The aim of this research is to examine the effectiveness of these two strategies in learning and retention of meaning of the English words in comparison to rote memorization among Guidance school pupils.

his study has been done with the purpose of studying the effect of work experience with computer and task-technology fit on acceptance of computer technology, especially computer perceived ease of use and computer perceived usefulness. The research is experimental using post-test single subject group. For this purpose, a sample of 127 computer first semester students for higher diploma were chosen clustery and after six weeks training answered to TAM questionnaire adapted from researches of Gardner and Amoroso and Klopping and McKinney. Results showed that the direct effect of work experience with computer and task-technology fit on computer perceived ease of use was significant and on computer perceived usefulness was however not significant. Also the direct effect of computer perceived ease of use on computer perceived usefulness by added work experience with computer and task-technology fit to model was not significant, but direct effect of internet perceived ease of use on computer attitude toward using was not moderated by added work experience with computer and task-technology fit.

he purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between perceived parenting styles, identity styles and commitment in adolescents and causal model of these variables witch proposed by Berzonsky (2004). A total of 415 third-grade high school students (187 male and 238 female) were selected via cluster sampling method. Data collected by perceived parenting styles questionnaire, Berzonsky’s identity processing styles questionnaire and then analyzed using correlation, regression analysis and path analysis. Results showed that parenting styles and identity styles predict thirty one percent of variance of commitment. Also, identity styles were predicted significantly by parenting styles. The results of path analysis showed that causal model proposed by Berzonsky (2004) was not fitted in this study. Probably with regarding to the importance of ethnicity and cultural differences of Iran society and age differences, causal model proposed by Berzonsky (2004) was not confirmed in Iranian adolescents. However, in general, mother parenting styles and identity processing styles are good predictors of commitment of Iranian adolescents.

Abstract
his study compares mental health, academic achievement, and educational functioning in students with and without attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). In this descriptive study sixty 1st grade students (30 with and 30 without ADHD) were recruited from guidance schools in Hamedan. Mental Health Inventory and Academic Achievement Inventory were utilized for collecting the data. Data analysis revealed a significant difference between the two groups. Accordingly, we can suggest that students with ADHD have a poorer condition in these three variables. On this base, we stress on the related psychological service for students with ADHD. Clinical implications have been discussed.
