Abstract some people believe that video games have negative correlation with mental health and scholastic performance and influences the range of aggressive behaviours, anxiety, and deppression in people do it. The goal of this research was studying the effect of doing video games on students mental health and scholastic performance(a group that didn,t play video qemes,e group that play a little and a group that play very much).Dependent variable of this study were mental health(with it, s five subgroups named anxiety, hostility, deppression, somatization, & interpersonal sensivity)and scholastic i performance. Statistical universe of this study were all students of the guidance school of Tehran city in 1383-84 scholastic year. Sample volume were 606 students (involve girls and sons) that were selected randomly.Measurement equipment was Sympytom Chekhlist-90- R.Results showed that there is a meaningful differences between mental healths of students didn,t play video games and the students that played very much. This difference were between this two groups in hostility, somatization and anxiety too. There were meaningful difference in hostility between the students played video games a little and those played very much.too. There wasn,t any meaningful difference between these three groups in scholastic performance.
The Relationship between Television Viewing and Academic Achievement of Secondary Schools Students

Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between television viewing and academic achievement of male students in Kennan secondary schools. Using cluster sampling g' technique, 600 male students selected randomly from the students of high schools in Kennan (N=18760). A questionnaire was used to gather data. A pilot administration showed considerable reliability (a=0.72). 7 experts in education examined the validity of gathering data tool. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics (eg. Pearson correlation coefficient, Chi-square and One-sample Test). Results indicated that there is no significant relationship between television viewing and student academic achievement. Also there is not a significant relationship between favorite programs and student academic achievement and it was revealed that the students prefer more to watch adult programs than specific children programs.

Abstract A theory predicts and explains the future events and helps the scientist to get new findings. Vocational development theories explain individuals occupational behavior and his /her vocational decision- making process . This expectation is met when there is a relation ship between theory and practice. Today some factors such development of labor market ,job changes ,and increase in unemployment have caused the necessity of formulation of theories and their application to practice. There are different views concerning. The application of vocational theories in counseling some belive that practically there in not so much relationship between the two and there is no need for this relationship . on the other hand , other believe that there should be a distinct and defined relationship between theory and practice in vocational counseling , otherwise , the theory is definitely useless. In this arlicle, the two points of view will be criticized ,and finally it will became clear that a theory of vocational counseling is an essential necessity for practice

Abstract Regarding the purpose the stydy that is to compare cognitive styles (field dependent and field independent) and the degree of ,O usage of self - regulated teaming strategies among gifted and normal the sample of the study consisted of200 people (100boy and100 girls) were selected form the of Qazvin , via multi stage cluster sampling . The tools of this study , were group embedded figures test (witkine et al 1997), self - regulated learning questionnaire( pintrich & de groot 1991),also in order to control the inelegancy of subjects, the rieven test for adults was used. in order to statistical iS show that: 1-there is a significant difference between the cognitive analysis and pearson coefficient correlation were used. The results styles of gifted students and normal . 2- there is a significant . difference between the degree of applying self-regulated learning strategies in gifted and normal students .in orther words , the gifted students use more self- regulated teaming strategies. 3-in general of cognitive style and the degree of applying self-regulated learning strategies . 4-a significant positive relationship between congnitive 4 styls (field dependent and field independent) and self-regulated learning strategies was found.

Abstract In recent years, there has been a especial attention to the role of language process in constructing reality and metaphor is one of the the most important of them. In narrative approach it is said that metaphors have diagnostic and therapeutic value in psychotherapy. Sample was select by Scl-90 test and psychiatrist or psychologist diagnosis. They were 17 persons (7depressed, 5anxious and 5 nonclinical .All of them had at least diploma and between 20-40 ages.For data collection we used two open end question and Asgood'semantic differential technique .Analysing data with anova and content analyse showed that the theme of metaphor in three groups are different. Also metaphors in comparison with attitudes are better anticipator of every group psychological status.

Abstract Visual perception is interring predations of the sensuous stimulation, which is received by visual system, and it is one of the essential processes of brain. It plays one of the important roles in acquiring reading ability . A research regarding relationship between dyslexia (reading disability) and deficiency in visual perception among 120 both girls and boys in elementary school (grade 1 &2) by cluster method. For selection of this student a check list from symptoms of child dyslexic has been used. To be sure regarding student's natural intelligence, an intellectual test has been done. Then frostig visual perception test Has carried. This test has another five smaller tests that evaluates: 1) Eye-hand coordination ability, 2) Figure ground perception, 3) Visual constancy, 4) Position in space and 5) Spatial relation. This research revealed that there is a meaningful relation between dyslexia and visual perception deficit. Also this relation in and the skills of figure ground perception and position in space perception whit dyslexia is seen, but there isn't any relation between dyslexia and the skills of eye-hand coordination, visual constancy and spatial relation. Also deficiency in visual perception in girls more than boys causes dyslexia.

Abstract Philosophy of Islamic education is one of the philosophical sciences or genitive philosophies which analyzing and explaining propositions of Islamic education by rational and argumentative method. this cognitive domain consisting five parts: epistemology, ontology, theology, psychology , andaxiology. In this paper ,it has been strived to bring out some of the most important epistemological foundations of Islamic education from the first hand sources and texts of Islamic philosophy and sepecially sadrolmota-a/lehine shirezis transcendental philosophy. Conceptual or imaginaltive self - evidence of knowledge, confirmative self-evidence of knowledge (occurance possibility of knowledg) , forces or instruments of knowledge, kinds of knowledge , knowledge abstraction and finally knowledge innovation of islamic education which have been analyzed in this paper.

Abstract This is an experimental study with pre-test post-test and control group design. The main purpose of this study was to find strategies to improve the high school students mental health.survey population of this study was all of high school students in gonbad kavous city. 60 students who had a problem in mental health or adaptation (dependent variable of this research) were selected as a main sample of this study from 1 BOstudents who were selected from the population by random sampling method and randomly divided in four groups. 1. mental health training , 2- assertiveness training , 3-sociat skills training ,and4- control groups(15 persons per groups were tested with . 28 and AlSo questionnaires . Then data was analyzed by one way analysis of variance (ANOVA).result showed all of training had signofocant effect on improving mental health but the mental health training was better than others.A/so none of training methods had significant effect on academic performance of students
