This research was conducted with the aim of effectiveness of dialectical behavior therapy on psychological capital and academic vitality of male students of Shahid schools in Dezful city. Semi-experimental research method with pre-test - post-test with control group and available sampling method, 30 people were selected and randomly assigned to two groups (15 people control and experiment). The data were collected by the Psychological Capital Questionnaires (Luthans, 2007) and Academic Buoyancy Scales (Hossin Chari & Deghanizadeh, 2011). They were also trained during 8 sessions (90 minutes) once a week for two months, based on the dialectic behavior therapy training protocol of Miller et al. (2007). During the training, the control group did not receive any intervention, and after the training, both groups were given a post-test. In order to analyze the data, multivariate covariance analysis was used. The findings showed that dialectical behavior therapy can significantly improve psychological capital with an effect size of 0.56 and academic vitality with an effect size of 0.47 (p < 0.001). On this basis, based on the results, it can be considered that dialectical behavior therapy can be considered as an effective intervention to improve the psychological capital and academic vitality of students.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of mediator of hope in relation between attachment styles and academic buoyancy. Method: This study was a descriptive study and correlation and path analysis. The statistical population of the study consisted of all 10th grade male students of secondary school in Shiraz during the academic year of 1995-96. A total of 400 students were selected through multistage cluster sampling. To collect the data, Hazen and Shiver attachment styles questionnaires, Pamela Hindes Adolescents Hope Scale and Martin and Marsh's academic buoyancy scale were used. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and path analysis. Results: The results of correlation matrix table showed that there was a significant correlation between the majority of the present research which included the dimensions of attachment styles, hope and academic bouyancy (P <0.01). The results of path analysis indicated a significant role of mediating role of hope in the relationship between attachment styles and academic buoyancy. Conclusion: In general, it can be concluded that attachment styles and hope are two of the main factors for studying academic bouyancy.

The purpose of this study was to explain the academic buoyancy model based on self-handicapping through the mediating role of love of learning, self-esteem, and self-regulation skills.
The statistical population of this study included all male and female students of high schools in Poldokhtar city, which included about 3990 students. According to the Krejcie and Morgan's table, 350 people (175 girls and 175 boys) were selected as samples based on the multi-stage sampling method. The self-handicapping, academic Buoyancy, love of learning, self-esteem and Buffard et al self-regulatory skills scales were used to collect the data.
Data analysis showed that the conceptual model of the research was confirmed with proper fitness, and self-handicapping had a significant negative effect on academic Buoyancy and all of the mediating variables. More importantly, love of learning and self-esteem had positive mediating roles in the effect of self-handicapping on academic Buoyancy. Although self-handicapping had a significantly negative effect on self-regulation skills, this variable had not a mediating role on the adolescent's academic buoyancy.
It can be concluded that self-handicapping is a factor that can have damaging and destructive effects on the student’s academic buoyancy and other educational outcomes in the school setting. For this reason, it is necessary to use the positive effects of factors such as love of learning and self-esteem to overcome on negative impact of self-handicapping.

This study investigated the antecedents and outcomes of goal orientation in a causal model in which student-teacher interaction and self-efficacy were considered as endogenous variables, goal orientation as the mediating variable and academic buoyancy as the exogenous variable. Participants were 516 high school students (291 boys and 225 girls) in Kazeroun who completed Academic Buoyancy Questionnaire (Hosseinchari & Dehghani, 1391), Goal Orientation Scale (Elliot & Mcgregor, 2001), Teacher-Students Interaction Questionnaire (Wubbles, Creton, Levy & Hooymayer, 1993), and Self-efficacy Scale (Moris, 2001). Descriptive statistical methods and path analysis were used to test the model. Results revealed that emotional and social self-efficacy dimensions of self-efficacy predicted academic buoyancy both directly and indirectly, through mastery approach goal orientation. However, academic self-efficacy only predicted academic buoyancy through mastery approach goal orientation. None of the teacher-student interaction dimensions predicted academic buoyancy directly. Mastery-avoidance goal orientation mediated the relationship between control and orientation dimensions of teacher-student interaction and academic buoyancy. After all, the research findings contributed theoretical knowledge, academic buoyancy and provide some for implications promoting students’ academic buoyancy skill more implications and justificationson of the results discussed in the final chapter.

This study aimed to examine the mediating role of self-efficacy dimensions in the relationship family communication pattern and religious orientation with academic buoyancy. In this study, 392 students (205 females and 187 males) of a high school located in Poldokhtar city that were chosen by multi-stage random cluster sampling method. Participants fill out the child version of the revised family communication patterns scale, religious orientation scale, self-efficacy dimensions’ scale and academic buoyancy scale. All the tools enjoyed appropriate validity and reliability. Path analysis (PA) results showed that the conversation communication pattern and intrinsic orientation of religious has direct and indirectly led to more academic buoyancy scale through self-efficacy dimensions. Accordingly, it can be stated that the self-efficacy dimensions have played a mediatory role between conversation communication pattern and intrinsic orientation of religious with academic buoyancy. These finding emphasize the role of quality of family communications and religious orientations in promoting of self-efficacy to increase student academic buoyancy.

The present paper aims to study the influence of the perception of family communication patterns (including conversation and conformity orientations) as well as structure of the class (including tasks, meticulous assessment, emphasis on evaluation authority) onacademic buoyancy, and investigate the mediatory role of selfefficacy dimensions therein. Using multi-stage random cluster sampling method, ٣٣٧ subjects (١٧٦ females and ١٦١ males) were selected from among high school students in the city of Mehriz. The research instruments included a version of the Revised Family Communication Pattern (١٩٩٧), the Class Structure Questionnaire (٢٠٠١), a version of self-efficacy dimensions (٢٠٠١), and the Academic Buoyancy Questionnaire (١٣٩١). Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was used to test the instruments’ reliability, and their validity was tested by using factor analysis and internal consistency methods. The instruments proved to be reliable and valid. The research data was analyzed using path analysis method with simultaneous regression as suggested by Baron and Kenny (١٩٨٦). In general, the results indicated that some dimensions of family communication patterns and class structure can directly predict the academic buoyancy. Moreover, some dimensions of family communication patterns and class structure directly predict selfefficacy''s dimensions. Finally, after calculating the obtained ١. The results of the study were discussed with regard to previous studies and some suggestions were made for further research in the field.
