Abstract
The present study was conducted in order to investigate the effectiveness of training social Plays on emotional self-awareness and social skills in students who are victims of domestic violence. The research method studied was a semi-experimental type with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of this research included all male students aged 7 to 9 who were victims of domestic violence in rehabilitation centers covered by the welfare of Tehran in 1401, and in this research, 30 students were randomly selected using available sampling methods. They were divided into two groups receiving treatment (15 experimental and 15 control) and Rafi’s emotional self-awareness questionnaire (2007) and Gresham's social skills questionnaire (1990) were used to collect data. The experimental group was trained for 8 sessions of 60 minutes, while the control group was on the waiting list and did not receive any training. After the sessions, both groups were evaluated using the above questionnaires. The data was analyzed using one-way covariance analysis and the findings showed that training social Plays increases emotional self-awareness and social skills in students who are victims of domestic violence at a significant level of less than one thousandth P<(0/001) became was effective.
