Children with diabetes experience debilitating conditions that can affect the happiness and hope of a child with diabetes. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of interactive education based on new media on happiness and disease acceptance in children with type 2 diabetes. This study was a quasi-experimental method of pretest-posttest with a control group. The statistical population of this study included all children with diabetes referred to Gabrik Medical Center and Diabetes Clinics in Tehran in 2009-2010. A sample of this population consisted of 44 people (24 in the experimental group and 19 in the control group) with Using the sampling method, they were selected voluntarily and placed in the experimental and control groups. The educational model was performed for the children of the experimental group for 6 sessions after the pre-test. The control group did not receive any special psychological training. The collected data were analyzed using analysis of covariance. The results showed that the model of interactive education based on new media has a significant effect on happiness and psychological hope of diabetic children (p <0.05). Based on the obtained results, it can be concluded that the interactive education model based on new media can be used as an intervention method for children with diabetes along with drug therapy.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of mediator of hope in relation between attachment styles and academic buoyancy. Method: This study was a descriptive study and correlation and path analysis. The statistical population of the study consisted of all 10th grade male students of secondary school in Shiraz during the academic year of 1995-96. A total of 400 students were selected through multistage cluster sampling. To collect the data, Hazen and Shiver attachment styles questionnaires, Pamela Hindes Adolescents Hope Scale and Martin and Marsh's academic buoyancy scale were used. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and path analysis. Results: The results of correlation matrix table showed that there was a significant correlation between the majority of the present research which included the dimensions of attachment styles, hope and academic bouyancy (P <0.01). The results of path analysis indicated a significant role of mediating role of hope in the relationship between attachment styles and academic buoyancy. Conclusion: In general, it can be concluded that attachment styles and hope are two of the main factors for studying academic bouyancy.

This study was an attempt to investigate relationship between spiritual intelligence, hope and responsibility wih academic achievement of high school female students of Langroud city. The population of the study was all third grade high school of female students (1217 persons) in city. Sample of the study were 318 students who selected through random cluster sampling and base of Gessy and Morgan table who respond to spiritual intelligence self-report (king, 2008), hope measure (snyder, 1991) and responsibility California personality measure (1951). Data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics included Pearson ‘s correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Results showed significant correlation between subscales of spiritual intelligence and subscales of hope and responsibility with academic achievement. Also The result of regression analysis showed that spiritual intelligence, hope and responsibility were predicting to academic achievement (R2= 0.46). So, it can be concluded that in order to improve students 'academic achievement along with formal education, students' psychological dimensions should be considered.
