The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of training in decreasing depression and increasing spirituality of marital satisfaction among married women in region 5 in Tehran. This is a kind of quasi- experimental research including experimental group and the control group in which replacing the subjects were divided into two groups randomly. In this study, 30 subjects were recruited and randomly assigned to two experimental and control groups. The experimental group participated in 8 sessions of spiritual training workshop of 90 minutes, and then one week after the last session, the test was administered to both groups. In this study, the Beck Depression Inventory (short form) and Enrich Marital Satisfaction (short form) were used as a measurement tool. Data analysis was used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were used in the analysis of covariance which was performed through SPSS tool. Testing the hypothesis of the difference between the experimental group and the control variables, depression (with a significance level of p< 0/05), marital satisfaction (with a significance level of p< 0/05), shows statistically significant. The spiritual training decreases depression and increases marital satisfaction in married women. Spiritual interventions such as concentration and meditation, prayer, faith, forgiveness, and other items that were discussed in the context of the group were effective in decreasing depression and increasing marital satisfaction.

The aim of the present study is to investigate The Relationship Between personality Factors (similaritiy and complementarities) With Marital Satisfaction. The sample included all the married students of public universities’, of Tehran living in the dormitory, is composed of 174 married students (87 couples) selected by cluster sampling and randomization. ENRICH and NEO-FF-I questionnaires were used to data gathering. The data were analyses by correlation coefficient and student’s T. four personality factors were revealed to be the similar dimensions.
While neuroticism was considered to be the complimentarily factor, extraversion, agreeableness, openness and conscientiousness were revealed to be the similarity factors respectively. The Results showed a negative relationship between neuroticism, as a complimentary factor, with marital satisfaction and a positive relationship between extraversion and agreeableness with marital satisfaction. Finally results of T test did not show significant difference between degree of marital satisfaction with similarities and complementarities in personality Factors.

This study investigated the relationship between Big Five Personality Factors of Neuroticism, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Openness to Experience and Conscientiousness With the degree of Marital Satisfaction. The sample included all the married students of public universities’, of Tehran living in the dormitory, is composed of 174 married students (87 couples) selected by cluster sampling and randomization. ENRICH and NEO-FF-I questionnaires were used to data gathering. Results showed a significant but negative relationship between neuroticism with marital satisfaction and significant and positive relationship between extraversion, agreeableness and conscientiousness with marital satisfaction. there was no significant relationship between openness with marital satisfaction. Furthermore results of multivariate regression analysis showed that neuroticism and agreeableness have the most relationship with marital satisfaction. Thus they have power of prediction at a level significant statistically.

The present investigation tested the relationship between the Big Five dimensions ofpersonality and the marital satisfactions of 400 mothers of primary school students in Tehran city. All participants were asked IV complete the ENRICH and the NEO• FFI. Analysis of the data involved descriptive statistics and also inferential statistics including Pearson's correlation coefficients and regression analysis. Results showed that Neuroticism were negatively correlated with marital satisfaction, while agreeableness and conscientiousness were positively correlated with marital satisfaction. The results suggested the women's marital satisfaction could be explained by three dimensions of Big Five factor model ofpersona/it: Neuroticism, Agreeableness and Conscientiousness. Neuroticism decreases levels of marital.l satisfaction while Agreeableness and conscientiousness increase levels of marital satisfaction. These findings suggest that Agreeableness and conscientiousness deserve increased attention as significant correlates ofmarital satisfaction
