The present study was conducted with the aim of developing a model of happiness based on psychological well-being with the mediation of emotional intelligence in undergraduate students. The type of applied research and its method was descriptive correlation based on structural equations. The statistical population of the research consisted of all undergraduate students of the Islamic Azad University of Science and Research. In order to determine the sample size based on Klein's point of view in the structural equation model, 414 individuals were selected through cluster multistage random sampling. Oxford happiness (2002), Rief psychological well-being (2002) and Schott emotional intelligence (1998) questionnaires were used to collect data. Data analysis was done through structural modeling using Amos software. The results showed that psychological well-being and emotional intelligence have a positive and significant effect on students' happiness, and emotional intelligence among students positively and significantly mediates the effect of psychological well-being on happiness. It can be concluded that the psychological well-being of students acts as a protection against stressful events and has an essential role in influencing and improving the quality of life, mental health and happiness in different societies.

purpose of this study was to predict academic procrastination based on basic psychological needs with the mediation of psychological well-being. The research method was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population of this study consisted of undergraduate students of Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University in the 2016-2017 academic year. 420 participants were selected via multi-stage random sampling and completed questionnaires of academic procrastination (Savari’s, 2011), Basic psychological needs (Gardia, Desi Varian, 2000), and psychological well-being (Ryff and Keyes, 1995). The data were analyzed by structural equation modeling. The findings showed that all fitness indicators are in the accepted range and the assumed model is fitted with the collected data. The effect of basic psychological needs and psychological wellbeing on students' academic procrastination was negative and significant (P <0.05). Also, psychological well-being plays a negative and significant mediator role in the relationship between basic psychological needs and academic procrastination (P<0.01). The findings of this study reveal the role of psychological well-being and the basic psychological needs in explaining academic procrastination.

Psychological well-being has always attracted psychologists' attention, in scientific environments. The purpose of this present study was the explaining of Psychological Well-being based on Mindfulness, Need for Cognition and Psychological Capital in the students. Research method was descriptive-correlational. Statistical population consisted of all students in Bu-Ali Sina University in the academic year of 2016-2017. Students 375 were selected by multiple cluster sampling method using Krejcie and Morgan table. The instruments for data gathering included, Mindful attention awareness scale (Brown & Ryan), Need for Cognition scale (Cacioppo, Petty & Kao), Ryff Psychological Well-being scale and Luthans Psychological Capital questionnaires. The data was analyzed with Pearson correlation and multivariate regression using. Results showed that Psychological Well-being had a significant positive correlation with Psychological Capital(R=0.730؛ P<0.001), Need for Cognition(R=0.505؛ P<0.001) and Mindfulness(R=0.382؛ P<0.001). Meanwhile Mindfulness, Psychological Capital and Need for Cognition predict 56% of Psychological Well-being variance. Given that Mindfulness, Need for Cognition and Psychological Capital variables were significant predictors of Psychological Well-being in students, creating and fortifying such capacities can promot Psychological Well-being of students.
