The present paper aims to study the influence of the perception of family communication patterns (including conversation and conformity orientations) as well as structure of the class (including tasks, meticulous assessment, emphasis on evaluation authority) onacademic buoyancy, and investigate the mediatory role of selfefficacy dimensions therein. Using multi-stage random cluster sampling method, ٣٣٧ subjects (١٧٦ females and ١٦١ males) were selected from among high school students in the city of Mehriz. The research instruments included a version of the Revised Family Communication Pattern (١٩٩٧), the Class Structure Questionnaire (٢٠٠١), a version of self-efficacy dimensions (٢٠٠١), and the Academic Buoyancy Questionnaire (١٣٩١). Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was used to test the instruments’ reliability, and their validity was tested by using factor analysis and internal consistency methods. The instruments proved to be reliable and valid. The research data was analyzed using path analysis method with simultaneous regression as suggested by Baron and Kenny (١٩٨٦). In general, the results indicated that some dimensions of family communication patterns and class structure can directly predict the academic buoyancy. Moreover, some dimensions of family communication patterns and class structure directly predict selfefficacy''s dimensions. Finally, after calculating the obtained ١. The present research aims to study the effect of blended mentoring, as a learning and development strategy, on learning and retention of middle managers of Iran Khodro Diesel Company. This was an experimental research with pretest-posttest control groups. 40 subjects were selected from among all middle managers of the company, and randomly divided into experimental and control groups each comprising of 20 people. Before the intervention, the experimental and control groups were evaluated by the pretest that was a localized version of the Mackenzie Institute Problem Solving Test. The experimental group participated in the blended mentoring program for 5 months; whereas, the control group was engaged with a conventional face-to-face course, the content of which was similar to that of the mentoring program. At the end, both groups participated in post-test, and after 2 months, the same test was applied to them to measure the extent of retention. The data was analyzed using multivariate covariance (ANCOVA). The results showed that blended mentoring had significant effect on learning and retention rate (p<0.05). The results also indicated that blended mentoring led to a better learning and retention compared to the conventional in-service training with the aim of developing the managers’ competencies which requires learning at high levels,

Studying fulfilment processes of curriculum plans and second language teaching principles showed that grammar teaching is one of the challenging and serious subjects. Grammar is teaching-oriented, and it is based on meaning in some curriculum planning. While, in other some, grammar is fully discarded and meaning is language teaching plan .The previous study of plans and teaching principles of second language indicated forming 3 approaches in related to grammar teaching. The first approach which emerged in structuralism or grammar curriculum plans cited grammar is a basic context of curriculum planning framework of language learning plan. This approach emphasized grammar and direct education clearly. Secondly, this approach emphasized meaning and linguistic roles .Grammar teaching is discarded fully and meaning exchange is a basic part of language learning plan. Third, this approach emphasized both grammar teaching and meaning. The proofs showed that there were different approaches about grammar teaching, because of different definitions presented for this part of language. These definitions included mind grammar, linguistic grammar, descriptive grammar, standard grammar, teacher’s grammar and educational grammar. The main questions of this study asked which grammar must be taught? Which approaches are best from view of basic goals of non-native’s Persian grammar teaching? Obtaining goals are, as follows: first, it will examine fulfillment processes of language education theories, so reflecting these theories in curriculum plans of language education will be studied. Also educational grammar and its characteristics will be studied. Finally, it suggested Persian language teaching, a model for writing grammatical context and grammar teaching.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of multimedia, sound and color on the brain waves of male undergraduate students. Population of the study was male students at the TarbiatMoallem University of Tehran. The sample consisted of 14 male students. The instrument of the study was EEG (SD-C24). The results indicated that:
(a) the use of multimedia had a significant effect on brainwaves at p<0.01 when eyes were open, (b) the use of sound had a significant effect on brainwaves at p<0.05 when eyes were shut, (c) there was no significant difference between sound and multimedia on brainwaves at p<0.05, and (d) there was a significant difference between sound, multimedia and colors on brainwaves at p<0.05.This investigation showed that multimedia affects the brainwaves. However, there was no significant difference between effects of sound and multimedia. Color in comparison to other two variables had a meaningful effect on the brainwaves. Therefore, in designing and developing the media, these factors must be considered. Since learning is the outcome of change of the behavior, it is reflected on the brainwaves.

This work concerns the situations in which the framing effects emerge. This has not been an established feature in different studies, so the reasons for its variations have been the subject of various studies since 1980s. Present study aimed to determine the variables affecting the feature as well as to address the controversies exist on how these variables affect it. 551 students from engineering faculty, University of Tehran and different faculties at Tehran University and Medical Sciences were included in the study. They were assigned to eight categories in two steps and filled out the modified Kahnman and Tveresky`s death, life, and trust text with the classical conditions. Results indicate that framing effects has a significant relationship with “the importance of sucrife`s fate to the participant. In other words, the framing effects emerge as “emotional involvement” on the “the fate of human beings in danger” is produced in the participant. In addition, application of open- ended questions reveals that nationality distinction not only affects the emotional involvement, but can also highlight distinct emotional aspects in participants. In spite of their importance, these aspects have been neglected in the previous studies.
