The aim of the research was to examine the relationship between perfectionism and multiple cognitive styles including constructive thinking, emotional coping, behavioral coping, superstitious thinking, categorical thinking, esoteric thinking, and naive optimism. In this study, 330 female high school students in Karaj were selected using multistage cluster sampling. Positive and Negative Perfectionism Scale (Terry-Short, 1995) and Constructive Thinking Inventory (Epstein and Meier, 1989) were used. The collected data were analyzed using simultaneous multiple regression procedure. Results showed a positive significant relationship between positive perfectionism and cognitive styles and a negative significant relationship between negative perfectionism and cognitive styles. In positive perfectionists, there were positive significant relationships among emotional coping with problems, behavioral coping with problems, and optimism. There was also a negative significant relationship between esoteric thinking and categorical thinking. Moreover, the relationship between constructive thinking and superstitious thinking was not significant. Negative perfectionism had negative relationships with constructive thinking and all its sub-categories. It had no significant relationship with optimism. The research findings indicated that positive perfectionists have positive thinking, are actively involved in solving their problems using behavioral and emotional methods, and have high levels of optimism and low levels of bipolar (categorical) negative thinking, superstitious thinking and esoteric thinking. On the contrary, negative perfectionists do not have positive thinking and do not use behavioral and emotional methods to overcome their problems. They have low levels of optimism; however, they keep themselves away from destructive thinking. In general, the obtained results revealed inconsistencies in the process of overcoming problems and thought patterns in negative perfectionists, whereas it revealed the use of appropriate methods in overcoming the problems in positive perfectionists.

The purpose of this study was lo prepare the normative scale to assess emotional intelligence of Iranian adolescence in relation to current theories and native culture. To achieve our aim, first we made an analysis and comparison current theories, second, we made an investigation of different school compared in various fields. People regulate their emotions in different ways which emanates from their individual differences. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between personality factors and cognitive development levels with emotion regulation strategies. 381 (192 females, 189 males) students from Hakim Sabzevari University were selected in a cluster sampling method and they filled out ERQ, NEO-FFI and SPBI questionnaires. Correlation coefficient and multiple regression was used for data analysis. Correlation analysis showed that reappraisal have significant positive relation with extraversion, agreeableness and conscientiousness, also suppression have positive significant relation with neuroticism and conservative thinking and negative significant relation with extraversion, openness and conscientiousness. The results of regression analysis indicated that conscientiousness, formal thinking and Collectivistic thinking could predict 12% of reappraisal variance. Results also indicated that extraversion, openness and dialectical thinking could predict 11% of suppression variance. Overall the present findings indicate that individual’s personality traits and cognitive development can predict their emotion regulation capability.

The purpose of this study was to predict the students' boredom in social studies based on the variables of classroom structure, teaching quality and support Affective of the teacher. The statistical population of this study was all 9th grade high school students in Shiraz, in the academic year 1395-96. A sample of 379 people was selected by random cluster sampling. To collect the required data, the questionnaire was used for the study of academic boredom (Pekrun et al., 2002 and 2005), the quality of teaching by Cyriakides et al. (2000), Affective support of teacher Sakiz (2007) and the classroom structure of Eliot and Charch (2001). Data analysis was performed using appropriate statistical tests at descriptive and inferential levels. The results showed that the dimensions of class structure (task, Authority and Harsh in Evaluation) were able to predict academic boredom, and there was a negative and significant relationship between these dimensions and academic boredom of students in social studies lessons. On the other hand, the dimension focus evaluation ability to predict students' boredom was not a social studies lesson. Other findings indicated that there is a negative and significant relationship between the quality of teaching and affective support of the teacher to the students' academic boredom in the social studies lesson and the ability to predict academic boredom.

Background and Aim:The retention of teachers is important in education.In research a model has been developed for retention of teachers. Methodology:This research is mixed in terms of applied purpose and in terms of data type.Gathering information by studying texts theories models and research and initial interview and forming a focus group with6talented people and by purposeful sampling and semi-structured interviews with19educationexperts(School principals and teachers with more than15 years of experience)was done and a researcher-made questionnaire was prepared and they were asked to comment on importance of the identified components and indicators and to explain the dimensions, components and indicators not mentioned in the open question.To obtain data reliability and validity, two methods of reviewing participants and reviewing non-participants in the research were used. Data were analyzed by means of one-sample t-test and the final model was developed.Findings and Conclusion:The findings showed that the proposed model of teachers' retention has two dimensions of environmental factors with components of social, economic, welfare and livelihood, legal and organizational and social justice and professional factors with components of occupational factors Job satisfaction and quality of work life and38indicators.Among components the quality of work life with a factor load of0.90social factors with a factor load0.87 job factors with a factor load0.78the organizational and social justice with a factor load of0.70 livelihood and welfare factors with a factor load of0.65the legal factors with a factor load of0.63 job satisfaction with a factor load of0.56and economic factors with a factor load of0.52were the most important coefficient.

The present study aimed to identify and develop a value model in students based on the Fundamental Reform Document of Education. This research was based on the approach of a combination of exploratory researchers, in two parts: qualitative (Thematic analysis) and quantitative (based on survey method). In the qualitative part of the statistical community includes first and second hand sources, upstream documents, the Fundamental Reform Document of Education, as well as in the interview section, the statistical community, consisting of 29 specialists and experts in education and psychology, which Targeted snowball sampling method was selected. In the quantitative part, the statistical population includes high school students (second year) in Tehran in the academic year of 1398-1399. In this study, their number was 249,946, which is 417 people to complete the multi-stage cluster sampling method. Total of 396 questionnaires were completed and used in the analysis. Analysis of qualitative part data by MAXQDA and Excel software and quantitative part to fit conceptual model with field data by partial least squares method using SmartPLS-3 and SPSS-23 software done. The results of the qualitative section were identified to identify 3 dimensions (Islamic values, moral values, identity) and 18 components. The results showed that the findings of the quantitative section confirm the data of the qualitative section.

Higher education has a great responsibility in considering society various needs, such as economical, cultural, and political ones and tries to meet them. In universities, this mission has not fully been completed, especially in terms of curriculum development. The main aim of this study was to investigate the possible applied aspects of Educational Technology field (a) from students' points of view and (b) by analyzing MSRT approved curriculum. The collected data were analyzed and the results showed that: (a) there was not any necessary consistency between the objectives and the contents of many special courses of the field with its practical credits. (b) The applied aspects of the field were also assessed to be relatively good or good.

he purpose of this study is to investigate the national identity symbols of high school history and social science textbooks. To do this, the content analysis method was employed and entire pictures and questions of history and social science textbooks used in 1388-1389 were analyzed. The findings of this study indicated that national identity symbols have not been focused properly neither, in educational organization which has essential role in students' identity access process nor in textbooks which are the center of attention in schools. Although the long presence of students in school and present assignments in textbooks are very good opportunities for managers and educational planners to be used in identity giving process, but it is not used properly. In a society where the non school books have no place in family basket, attractive content of textbooks would be very effective to present facts like national identity and to attract teenagers to study these books.

Abstract
his study was done with the aim of investigating the effect of instructional cognitive and metacognitive skills on rate of using ICT by Iran ̓s central insurance staff. The research population included all male and female staff. The sample consisted of 60 colleagues who were randomly selected in three categories (cognitive, metacognitive, control group). The method was quasi experimental, with pre and post-test. The instrument used in the study was a researcher made test to evaluate the seven skills of using ICDL standards. The collected data were analyzed using covariance and one way covariance, and the result showed that there are positive relationship between instruction through cognitive skills and rate of using ICT. There was a negative relationship between rate of using ICT and metacognitive skills.

The present research aims to study the relationship between regulating positive and negative emotions and the academic performance and burnout among university students. This was a descriptivecorrelational research. Using cluster random sampling method, ٤٠٠subjects (including ٢٠٠ males and ٢٠٠ females) were selected from among undergraduate students at the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili during the academic year ٢٠١١-٢٠١٢. The data was collected using the Academic Burnout Scale and the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire. The participants’ academic average grade was used to measure their academic performance. The Pierson's Correlation Coefficient and MANOVA were used to analyze the data. Pierson's Correlation Coefficient showed a significant correlation between regulation of positive and negative emotions and students’ performance and academic burnout. Moreover, the analysis of variance results showed that there was a significant difference between the two groups in terms of regulation of positive emotions and academic burnout. Regulation of positive emotions was stronger among female students, and consequently, their academic burnout was less than that of male students. However, no significant correlation was found between the two groups regarding negative emotions and academic performance.

The purpose of the present research was descriptive, analysis and synthesis analysis presented in the context of factors influencing self-regulation strategy in learning. This research method is the meta-analysis. The statistical population of the research includes all scientific and research articles, a research project at the Research Center of Education Organization and thesis at the University of Mohaghegh Ardebili and Razi between 1380 -1394. In the research carried out, 11 were selected for review. Data analysis was performed with the help of software Spss.vs.22, CMA2 & EXCEL. To calculate effect size used of G Hedges and fixed effect and random effect model, to study significant of frequency in research use of method counting (chi-square) and in order to combination effects size were used of T Vainer possible combination method. To fix the problem publication bias in primary studies used of chart funnel that shows publication bias in the primary study at test anxiety variable. To fix this problem was used for tow models of fixed and random effects of Dual and Tweedy fitness test. In order to cheek homogeneity studies I2 and Q test was used that showed the primary studies are not homogeneous. Also, The calculated effect size was significant for studies under both models fixed and random statistically for variable examined. Finally, 10 factors affecting the self-regulation strategy were identified and their significance evaluated. Among the identification factors, the highest index of the calculated effect size was related to the collaborative learning of the type of Jigsaw Variable.

This research was conducted to study the relationship among basic psychological needs, academic motivation and students' academic engagement (in English language) in Structural Equation Modeling method. Using stratified sampling, 423 (127 males and 296 females) secondary and junior students were selected to participate in the study. They replied to the basic psychological needs, academic motivation and academic engagement Questionnaires. Structural equation modeling revealed that basic psychological needs satisfaction exerted a direct, significant influence upon intrinsic motivation, Identified regulation, Interjected regulation and an indirect one upon academic engagement. In addition, basic psychological needs had a negative direct influence upon amotivation, while the direct influence of related on extrinsic motivation was not significant. Intrinsic motivation, Interjected regulation and Identified regulation had a positive direct influence upon academic engagement, while the direct influence of related on amotivation was negative and significant. Additionally, the direct influence of related on extrinsic and interjected regulation was not significant. In general, findings of this study suggested basic psychological needs had influence on students' English language engagement through the meditational effects of academic motivation.

The present research was conducted to find out the Laplace transforms perception and their relationships in order to teach and assist students to learn in meaningful ways. Students majoring in Science and Engineering at Najafabad Islamic Azad University in academic year 2010–2011 constituted the statistical population. A random sampling technique was then used to select 108 students to do the test. Based on Bloom’s taxonomy of learning, the goal-content table was prepared, and the questions were designed. Their validity was confirmed by three members of academic staff who had taught this course for several years. Reliability of test for internal consistency was also checked by Cronbach’s alpha (0.817). Then, the structural model of concepts was compiled. Data analysis showed that there was a meaningful and direct relationship between ‘knowledge of definitions and rules’ (p<0.05), ‘knowledge of reverse transform and concept of complementary theorem’ (p<0.05), and ‘knowledge of reverse transform and its applications’ (p<0.05). The results suggested that meaningful learning could be achieved by paying attention to the relation of these concepts and especially its applications because meaningful learning only takes place when learner can use learned concepts practically.

The purpose of this research was to design a management model for the establishment and operation of sports kindergartens in the country using the data theory of the foundation. The research method is analytical, for this purpose qualitative methodology was used. The research strategy was to use the theory arising from the data. The participants in the research were 15 people, including the field of sports management, officials and teachers of sports kindergartens, and the sampling strategy in the qualitative part was targeted and with maximum diversity or heterogeneity. Content analysis of interviews and coding were used to analyze the data. The research tool was open interview and the results were analyzed based on three stages of open, central and selective coding. The findings showed that political factors, economic factors, international factors, environmental factors, marketing factors, intra-organizational factors, education dimension, personal management factors, creativity and innovation, facilities and facilities, technological change, workforce were causal factors. Background factors included human-centered factors, support, macro management factors, support and financial policies, communications, income, and legal factors. Also, the intervening factors were economic problems, political problems, socio-cultural issues, managerial (organizational) weakness, information structure weakness, attitude weakness, professional problems, structural issues and problems, scientific weakness. Supporting strategies, management strategies, structural strategies, professional strategies formed the management model of creating and running sports kindergartens. Social consequences, professional consequences, mental and psychological consequences, economic consequences, sports consequences, employment creation formed the consequences of the present research. Finally, management factors, structural factors, economic factors formed the central phenomena.

This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of mothers’ training program based onDweck’s theory of mindset about intelligence on learning behaviors of 4-6 years old children.Research method was semi-experiment with pretest-posttest and statistical population was the mothers of 4-6 years old children in Isfahan city. Among them, 50 mothers were selected using volunteer sampling, and then randomly assigned to two groups of experiment and control (each group 25 people). Parental training program based onDweck’s theory of mindset about intelligence was presented to experimental group in eight sessions. Research instrument was preschool learning behaviors scale (McDermott et al, 2002) and data were analyzed using multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA). Results revealed that training of Dweck’s theory mindset about intelligence have significant effect on competence motivation and total of learning behaviors (p<0.05), but have not significant effect on attention/persistence and attitude toward learning of 4-6 years old children (p>0.05).

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of smart boards and the application of grammar translation and audio-lingual teaching methods in the process of learning, retention (memorization) of first grade English Language lessons of first grade of secondary smart schools. The population consisted of all female students in the first grade high school in Tabriz, who have been studying in high schools in five districts of the city in the school year of 92-93 (N=17821out of this 10051 students were males and 7769 were females. They ware sampled with simple random sampling method and the research method is a quasi-experimental research with pretest and posttest design with control and experimental groups. For analyzing data, descriptive statistics, measures of central indexes, median indexes were used, for average and standard deviation, variance and deductive statistics were used; for analyzing equality of control and experiment groups, independent T was used; and for comparing the scores of the two groups, Two-way ANOVA was used. Results indicated that the difference in the process of learning the retention in both experimental and control groups in the use of electronic board has been clear and significant. Also the results suggest that teaching through smart board along with the audio-lingual method is efficient which is applied in learning and retention of speaking skill and this effect is stronger than the application of smart board along with the application of grammar translation method for improving the process of learning and retention in reading skills.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of moral justice and cognitive abilities predictors of critical thinking in the form of structural equation modeling. The research method was correlation and structural equations. The statistical population of the study was all students of Shiraz universities in the academic year of 97-96. 250 students from these universities were selected through cluster sampling. To collect the data, Rickets's critical thinking scale, Nejati's cognitive abilities, and Birger's moral justice were used. For validity of the scales, second order factor analysis with AMOS software was used and for reliability, Cronbach's alpha was used. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient and structural equation test were used to analyze the data and to answer the research hypothesis. Findings showed that moral justice has a positive and significant effect on critical thinking, but cognitive abilities do not have the potential to influence critical thinking. Conclusion: Generally, one can conclude that morality is one of the main factors for the study of critical thinking, but cognitive abilities have no role in the tendency of individuals to think critically.

This study aims to study developing English curriculum in the first period (grades1-3) of primary schools in Iran. The method is descriptive which was carried out by collecting data from successful Asian countries in teaching English as a foreign language. Then the viewpoints of national experts on the subject were collected through three researcher made questionnaires by Delphi method. All “absolutely agree” or “relatively agree” viewpoints were selected. In the third pause of the questionnaire confirmed views were evaluated and viewed. Average, standard deviation and one sample T-test was conducted for 5 point rating scale of the questionnaire. Due to the research results most of the experts (average of 4/64) believed that teaching English in primary school is essential and the aims of teaching English as well as language skills were determined from the experts’ viewpoints. Since there is a growing tendency from parents to learning English in the early years of primary schooling it seems that implementing English education to primary curriculum can support the establishment of an equanimity education for all the students.

Formative and traditional evaluation might have different effect on educational and emotional domain in measuring student performance. The aim of the present research is the study of the effects of the evaluation types on academic achievement and test anxiety in the students of second grade of primary school. In this research we examined 108 students (boys and girls) of second grade of primary school in Tehran city. The students were selected by stratified random sampling method from four regions of Tehran department of education. Research tools in this research were one questionnaire and two Persian and Mathematical tests. The results showed that there is difference between students in academic achievement and test anxiety with considering evaluation type. In fact results showed that students evaluated with descriptive evaluation had upper scores in academic achievement and fewer scores in test anxiety. According to results, sex showed interaction with anxiety, and females with were characterized by higher scores on test anxiety. These findings are consistent with the view that descriptive evaluation is associated with high school performance and low test anxiety

Many important events have occurred in recent decades; more over criticism of ordered Newtonian world according complexity paradigm has been continued. These occurrences have challenged education with new needs and problems. For replying to this new condition, many models and theories have been developed. The aim of this article is to explore one of this new theories-named connectivism that has been under consideration of many researchers in recent years. For this aim, researcher has gathered text documents and analyzed them to answer questions about this theory by descriptive-analytic methods: can connectivism be a theory? What criticisms challenge it? Is it essentially a new-build theory or has been built over previous theories? Analyzing of theoretical (and epistemological) bases of this theory according some criteria shows that connectivism can be seen as a theory. In comparison to behaviorism, cognitivism and constructivism, reliance of this theory on connective knowledge (or distributed knowledge) has been given a different epistemological base to it. However this theory still has no enough experimental support. So, applying it especially in the field of instructional design needs more research. Consequently, this theory can act as new coworker of existing learning theories not as their rival and especially can help to develop and direct e-learning in new spaces such as web 2.0.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between personality traits, studying approaches and academic achievement in BA students at Allameh Tabataba’i University. The method used in the study was descriptive-correlational survey. In this research, a total sample of 110 students was chosen by cluster sampling. The sampled students were asked to fill out the Personality Five-Factor Questionnaire along with the Approaches and Skills of Study Questionnaire, and their semester average was used as the criterion of academic achievement.The results of the Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient showed that the relationship of neuroticism and surface approaches of studying with academic achievement was negative. The relationship between academic achievement and extroversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness and deep approaches of studying was positive. Academic achievement was not associated with openness to experience. Furthermore, the multivariate regression analysis indicated that deep and surface approaches of studying, neuroticism, conscientiousness and extroversion could predict the academic achievement. Students who are more extroverted, agreeable or conscientious and use deeper studying approaches experience more academic achievement.
