The present research aims to study the effect of Organizational Intelligence (OI) on Organizational Performance (OP) of high school principals in 19 districts of Tehran. Using cluster sampling method, 223 subjects were selected from among all high school principals of Tehran. In terms of data collection, the study was a descriptive (non-experimental) one. The data was gathered through a survey instrument incorporating the Karl Albrecht's OI Scale and a researcher-made OP scale. The data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including One-Sample T Test, Simple Linear Regression, and Stepwise Regression. The results showed that OI and OP of high school principals in 19 districts of Tehran were at relatively desirable levels. Moreover, OI proved to be a good predictor of OP, since it explained 87.4% of the variance change in the OP. Also, all dimensions of OI, except knowledge deployment, had multiple correlations with OP.

This research attempted to define the role of grit, psychological hardiness, and resilience in academic engagement. Among a statistical society, 242 students were selected as a sample by a simple random sampling method. To collect data, using online social media, 5-question grit questionnaire (Dakourth, 2007), Norwegian version for the modified scale of hardiness (Hystad, Eid, Johnsen, Laberg & Thomas Bartone, 2010), resilience questionnaire (Johnsen, 2013), and academic engagement questionnaire (Rio, 2013) were employed. Obtained data of sample were analyzed by using the statistical softwares Spss &Amos and by path analysis. The results showed that Academic engagement was predicted directly by grit, psychological hardiness and resilience; According to the findings academic engagement was predicted indirectly, on the path of resilience, by grit. psychological hardiness through the mediating role of grit has also a indirect and meaningful effect on the Academic engagement .The results of the research were not confirmed indirectly on the path from psychological hardiness to academic involvement. The results indicated that 16% of academic engagement was explained, through grit, psychological hardiness, and resilience. Also, the variables for grit and hardiness explained 28% of academic engagement by resilience.

This study aimed al comparing Classical Test Theory and Item Response Theory with respect to the effect of' testees ' characteristics on item characteristics and vice versa. The research method was of the applied. descriptive type. Library research served to exam the issue from theoretical point of' view and the descriptive method was employed to treat the issue from theoretical perspective. fn the practical study, the answer sheets of the candidatesfor the university entrance exam in the field ofphysics-math. and emprial science were studied for their performance on the math and biology sections respectively. First, out of the candidates in the physics-math group, 3, 000 were selected based on systematic sampling. Then several sample groups were selected, 11si11g the appropriate software and the size of the sample to respond lo the research questions. Out of' the candidates in the empirical science group, 1000 were chosen for the purpose of this research. The two research questions in this study were treated theorically, and in each question, the advantages of Item Response Theory over Classical Test Theory were examined. The research questions were also examinedfrom a practical point of view. To analyze data, the statistical methods hosed on Classical Test Model - such as mean. item difficulty. item variance, biserial correlation (rb), and point-biserial correlation (rpb) - were applied. KR-20, frequency distribution. and test score plot were employed to analyze the total tests in this model. To analvze data according lo Item Response Theory. statistical methods such as paired t-test, Pearson Cofficient Correlation, Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). and tests of significant were used. The result from the two methods of data analvsis showed that the differences between the two groups of candidates affected the item indexes in CTT. but they did not affect the item parameters in IRT. The results also showed that the ability parameter was affected by Item chtuacteristics in CTT: however, in IRT. item chamcteristicsfailed to measure the ability parameter of the testees and, like the item parameter, the abilitv parameter the invariant and non-skewed.

During the last three decades, many researchers have investigated gender differences in academic emotions, but many of their results have been contradictory; Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a meta-analysis to achieve a comprehensive result in this field. In this regard, the aim of the current research is to combine the results of existing researches in the field of gender differences in academic emotions. The method used in this research is meta-analysis. The statistical population was all the researches published in the country between 1370 and 1400. After reviewing the primary studies based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 146 effect sizes from 80 selected studies were included in the analysis process. In order to collect information from the Mesrabadi checklist (1395) and to analyze the data, combined effect size with two fixed and random models, funnel plot, and sensitivity analysis, were used. In this research, Hedges g index was used among the types of d indices. The results showed that the difference obtained in the index of total academic emotions and types of emotions, according to the interpretation of Cohen's d criterion, is lower than the small level. Considering the heterogeneity of the effect sizes, sub-components were analyzed. Based on the obtained effect sizes, there is no difference between girls and boys in all kinds of academic emotions.

The importance of childhood preschool education in qualifying children lives, their future educational performance, and post-education years is well documented. Yet, what demands more attention is the quality of the education children receive. In the context of Iran, it has been less the case that educational practices tailored to preschool levels are grounded in an explicit rationale. Even, in cases where a specific approach has been adopted, it has fallen prey to a comprehensive implementation and its realization has been a function of individual favors, conditions, and facilities. Overall, thematically speaking, it can be arguably claimed that present approaches are adult-oriented. Originally, the present work has evolved from hands-on experiences of the researcher with multidimensional planning plans during BA course, participation in related workshops, extensive study of relevant literature on the issue, and exploration of the impact of multidimensional curriculum-based pre-school education on flourishing social skills (as one of the key skills in our information and communication boom time) of pre-school children. The study was causal-comparative in design and Elliot and Garsham’s (1990) (SSRS) was used to collect data. The test has been normalized in the context of Iran by Beheshteh Abadi (1387). According to the findings of the study, there was a statistically significant difference between the control and experimental groups on the three social skill components of the test, suggesting the positive effect of multidimensional curriculum-based pre-school education on the development of children’s social skills in comparison to other prevalent procedures.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between mindfulness, internal and external academic motivation by mediated time perspective in Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz’s Students. The statistical population were all undergraduate students of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. The sample consisted of 300 students who were studying in the academic year of 96-95. Samples were selected by simple random sampling. The Zimbardo and Boyd Time Perspective Questionnaire (1999), the Mindfulness Questionnaire (Bauer et al., 2006) and Hartre's Educational Motivation Questionnaire (1980) were used to measure the variables. The results of the path analysis showed that the mindfulness and future time were involved in predicting external and internal academic motivation, and the present fatalistic was only reciprocally related to external motivation. Results were discussed with respect to theories of motivation, mindfulness and time perspective. Mindfulness directly affects the internal and external motivation and helps improve motivation by improving mindfulness. Accordingly, it is difficult to distinguish relations with the time orientation due to the positive relationships between the two types of internal and external motivation. On the other hand, the prospect of future time orientation and focusing on increasing each motive is appropriate. But in order to improve external motivation, the present fatalistic time orientation must be reduced. In sum, the best prospect of time orientation to improving motivation is future time orientation.

In today’s world, issues in life skills have come to enjoy a special position because if such issues are not dealt with seriously and efforts are not made toward enhancing the mental health of individuals in today’s industrial and galloping world, the psycho-social abilities of individuals would diminish, thus leading to mental fatigue and a rise in social injuries**. In the past recent decades, psychologists have emphasized that many disorders and injuries** arise from failure to control emotions, an individual’s incapability of encountering difficult situations, and unpreparedness to solve life problems. In line with such beliefs, psychologists have mobilized to prevent mental diseases and social abnormalities, provide life skills education, increase psycho-social abilities, and ultimately prevent behaviors injurious to health and well-being and enhance mental health in individuals (WHO 1996, cited by Ghaleh Asadi 2007). Hakim Abolghasem Ferdowsi paid special attention to such areas of education over a millennium ago and described them in the forms of thoughts and behaviors of different persons in his stories and poems. One of such stories is one entitled “Haft Bazm” (Seven Feasts). This story which Ferdowsi depicted in his masterpiece, the Shahnameh, is set in a sublime atmosphere and a splendid meeting and in the form of question and answer sessions. The atmosphere of the question and answer sessions and the questions raised by Ferdowsi in such sessions by quoting them from Bozorgmehr and other scholars and the way the Sassanid King and rest of the audience, who are all among the great thinkers of their era, approach the thoughts presented in the words of Bozorgmehr are all prominent examples of the requirements of social skills which is indicative of this great poet’s mastery of the knowledge of communication skills and his great social and spiritual intelligence. The present study seeks to provide an introduction to Haft Bazm and offer an analytical paper for researchers and instructors engaged in social skills and other interested readers. Dr. Mohamed Yousef of Malaysia believes that in the same way that the west Europeanized or westernized Islamic philosophy, astronomy, medicine and mathematics, the Muslims too must Islamize and use the communications theories in which Europeans have made good progress (citation from Bolton, Shahvali’s translation 2001, p 4).
